Thoughts on the game so far
I'm enjoying the game so far, but there are some things I wish were better.
It's very hard to make money off the films, the only reason I am making money is because I bought shares in the other studios. Someone said they capped the ticket sales to make it harder because it was too easy before? Hopefully they can find a happy medium.

I also wish you could negotiate someone's salary raise below their asking amount. It automatically starts at a high number (around 50% or higher). If Bobby is making $5000 and suddenly wants $10,000 when I don't make money off the movies, it would be great to offer $8,000 instead or something. Even when I turn off automatic raises or allowing employees to ask for one, if I chose to offer one, it still starts at a high amount.

The old Movies game also had actors who were better suited to certain genres, like in real life. And you had to navigate which actors you needed for which movies and I miss that.

I also don't mind the classroom to increase skill, but I kinda wish they could also gain skill while making movies, especially the years before you get the classroom. Otherwise it seems like all the movies are the same rating unless you hire better people, but that also increases the budget, which doesn't help when we don't make money on them. They're already getting raises because of fame levels changing, I think it's only fair that their skill levels also go up too.

I think the game is designed to make you start small and cheap (ie you are the little guys on the block) to get to the point where the money starts snowballing in - so you are the budget studio that has a slower start.

Your third and fourth points are really something that could be combined:
It would be good for actors, etc to gain general experience from making films and also experience in both genres and themes.

Agreed, i really think it would be great to get experience from movies, and some actors are great at action and others for comedy fx. also u can specialize as a movie studio.
