****ed Up UI and ****ed Up Water. Help please?
So my UI and water are screwed up in game and in SFM mode. I don't know what cause this. Also I have a lot of particle issues, but I know for a fact it's something in the usermods folder that causes it.

It was worse before I took the pic.(at certain angles it's relatively fine but then screws up)

Map has a underground facility that I WAS going to use for a Spies vs Merc vid but There's a lot of water in it and since my water is funked, I can't use it. So anyone know how to fix the water issue without uninstalling and reinstalling?

Recompile the map with SFM's set of SourceSDK tools.

Hammer crashes once it loads the map...... I tried 5 times.

Try getting it into TF2's set first, then export and import it into the SFM SDK.

If you are fixing this for SFM, use the SFM hammer. DO NOT launch it from the SDK menu. Go to the actual EXE file in the SFM\game\bin folder. Right Click on the hammer.exe file and launch it as an administrator. As for the water I have seen some references to fixing certain water effects on maps.. but right now I can't remember if it was a reddit reference or here in the discussion group.

Most of the non-TF2 water materials don't work in SFM as-is due to different parameters or something.

You can find a good VMT for a working water material here.[facepunch.com] Just swap in the following parameters from your broken water texture and you have a good replacement!

$bumpmap
$normalmap

$fogenable
$fogcolor
$fogstart
$fogend

If you can't see anything above the water's surface from underwater, you need to recompile the map.

Thanks for trying guys but I'm just going to use a different map. Water works fine on many maps but this one won't load in any version of Hammer so I can't recompile it.
