Re 1), I actually agree that it's too easy to accidentally click through the New Turn box! This is something I've been meaning to address for some time now--thanks for reminding me. I've changed it for next week's update: starting in version 1.0.35, the New Turn box only disappears if you click a dedicated Start Turn button (as opposed to when you click any old place onscreen).
4) is a good suggestion, and wasn't hard to implement given that I've already got those algorithms written for the reserve supplies screen's own Sort button. Inventories will now be auto-sorted upon opening the character screen starting in version 1.0.35.
I'll look into 2) and 3) as well.
Just FYI, 8) is based on observing loads of new players. (You would be *amazed* how many of them don't think to equip weapons and armor they give their characters, fully intending them to equip those items!) If you manually equip all of the new weapons and armor you give a character before closing the window, by contrast, the game won't ask. Just close it without manually equipping if you want the game to auto-equip for you.
For #8, I am having it pop up even after I equip the gear manually.
Otherwise, I wouldn't complain about it 😄.
Part of the problem may be adding additional weapons, and it asks if I want to equip the new weapons to replace the existing ones.
Really enjoying my first few hours of the game and agree with points of Nitroglycerine
Ahhh, okay--if you manually equip something and then give the character another weapon, the game will flag that new weapon as "given but not equipped" and ask if you intended to equip it. That's kind of an ambiguous situation for the game to decipher, tbh. I think I'm gonna keep erring on the side of babying newer or forgetful players there--TTL is challenging enough for them as it is, tbh. 😂
Implementing 2) would be difficult by comparison to the others. As an alternative, how would you feel about the game auto-adjusting roster order with each deployment to move your most recently deployed characters to the front of the roster?
That would be a great stopgap option, if a manual adjusted order is too much work/effort.
Basically, anything that makes it easier to scroll through the list than the way it is right now!
I don't understand what this means. Are you somehow getting the game to display at an unsupported resolution using something other than the resolution selection in the settings?
