Suggestion: In-Game OSD keyboard for controller users, or option to disable analog sticks while textboxes are selected.
The current controller support is very nice, but it lacks an in-game means to input text. So we can't give a custom name to our principals or schools or classes.... if we're using a controller.

For systems like the ASUS ROG Ally, which lack a physical keyboard and mouse, this means the only way to input text is via an OSD keyboard provided by the OS.
In Let's School however, attempting to use that keyboard will fail due to the game detecting the controller's analog sticks moving,
(Moving the "mouse" to select the virtual keyboard buttons is detected by Let's School as both mouse and controller analog stick movement occurring at the same time),
causing the game to rapidly switch in and out of controller mode / keyboard + mouse mode constantly. Which also results in the keyboard input being dropped so no text makes it into the selected textbox in-game.

Attempting to use the touchscreen to type on that keyboard results in either the camera being jerked around or the principle being spun around depending on what textbox
you're trying to use. Again without any text making it to the in-game textbox.

Having an in-game OSD keyboard would eliminate that issue, but another way to "fix" it would be to simply have an option to ignore the controller's analog stick input
while having a text box selected. That way the game won't constantly switch back and forth between control modes while the player is trying to type using the OS provided
virtual keyboard.
