I suggest that you consider the possibility of changing that in the future. I think having just one potential for all attributes is unrealistic (as in real life tennis players have different "talents") and takes away a lot of the fun, as the game becomes just a matter of finding the "max potential" tennis player and then training attributes until he/she becomes unstoppable. IMO, if players had different potential for attributes, each tennis player could be unique (in terms of attribute advancement rate and maybe max attribute value) and finding the best game plan for that specific player would make sense and might be a welcome challenge for the coach.
For instance, one preliminary idea (without having no knowledge about how the match engine works) would be 5 potential figures for each player: PRECISION (applies to Serve Accuracy; Forehand Accuracy; Backhand Accuracy; Drop Shot; and Lob); TECHNICAL (applies to Return; Spins; Volley; Smash; and Hotshots); STRENGHT (applies to Serve Power; Forehand Power; Backhand Power; Natural Fitness; and Stamina); DEXTERITY (applies to Speed; Footwork; Balance; Agility; and Reflexes); and MENTAL (applies to Focus; Anticipation; Positioning and Tactical Skills).
