Cant play on Steamdeck anymore

Hi, I hope somebody can help me.
Today I tried to start Brotato and the game said some file would be missing. I veryfied the game files but no problme was found. I restarted my Steamdeck and now it seems like its not installed anymore and I cant install it. the option is showing but nothing is happening when I press the button. I did NOT deinstall the game myself. That would be the first thing I would try if I could... the only thing I can do is stream it via my PC. I searched every option but I cant delete the game from steamdeck because it thinks it is not installed.

Does somebody else have this problem?

Same exact issue as you. It prompted an update then 'invalid platform' errored me. Seemingly, no workaround :(

I'm also dealing with this. After reinstalling and setting the compatibility mode, it worked, but I now have lost all of my progress and I'm starting over. The gut wrenching part is that it wiped the progress on my PC as well. What the hell is going on?

Same issue here. Glad i found this thread. I've been messing around for over an hour trying to get this working and ended up doing all kinds of things to try to fix it. It means I've lost all my progress too.
So frustrating!

After checking in desktop mode, it appears the folder where the game files should be is now completely empty...

Hei Guys. A change on the backend broke the game for Steamdeck. This has been reverted. Please run "Verify Integrity of game files" and the game should be downloaded correctly again.

Hi blob-ging. I tried the suggested action and although the files are successfully validated. I'm still unable to run the game.

Hei. Does it help if you reinstall the game? And do you have anything set in the Brotato Properties -> Compatibility settings?

It doesn't allow me to reinstall or uninstall through the steam deck UI. The "play" button is replaced with an install button which seemingly does nothing. No compatibility mode forced in the settings.
