City Center and Pub not registering?

Hi all. Just started. Read the guides... built my city so each building is adjacent. However, no matter what I do I cannot get the city center to register population. What did I miss? :)

Hi! Are the residences directly next to the city center, pub or indirectly connected? If its still not counting as connected in the residences then could you send me the savegame to our support mail support@teamja.dev
