The Homestead is cross save, including new saves. It persists across all saves, so if you take something out of it on your current save, it won't be there for the new save once you unlock the Homestead there. Likewise if you take something out of it on your new save, it won't be there on the older save when you go back.
if you have a true ending, you keep all unlocks such as crafting, pill, cooking, & finally skills at 5.also what listed in non true ending.
if you finish without a true ending, all you keep is your achiviments and the state of your homestead.
you can find a list of true endings in the guides.
what you cant save is you budist and confuse points. so you have to read and find the books again. every playthough.
also your standing with each npc. which is not a real issue i find.
