1: There are fantastic elements in the game. (Disasters, gods etc.). We tried to use them in balance.
2: Officially the game has not been tested for steamdeck. However, we saw some videos of a game working on the steamdeck. But, we cannot guarantee that it is working properly yet!
Thank you for your reply. I will test it on the deck then. Is this game more citybuilding with some fighting (like farthest frontier) or a rts with some citybuilding (like frozenheim).
I would like know this as well. Wont be a buying decision just help give me a better understanding to avoid a misconception/expectation. Hoping for an end goal and city building with fighting being a part of the game, not be the heart of the game.
The game is relaxing like cities:skylines. it also contains various survival things like Frostpunk. The kind that will force the players as a strategy in war and events (Not RTS). Villagers like in Rimworld have various abilities and micromanagement. But in short, we can call it the game is Viking-themed survival city-building game.
There is a live stream on our steam page until 8 November. You can learn more about the game by watching it.
No RTS type fighting elements :(
We will improve the raid and battle system a lot during the early access period.
In the game description on the store page it says, "A wise Jarl must manage resources, survive harsh conditions and enemy raids". So that aspect is not implemented yet but will at some point in early access?
