Did you have enough wells? You can probably load an old save and try to get wells to help in firefighting. And if you do, it's probably bugged and unpolished, but maybe will be fixed at a later time.

Just started over and with wells carefully placed, lost 3 more houses that were spaced apart. Also the lightening storm lost 3 houses. Seems a bit much in a short period of time. Started over at least 8 times for various reasons which is fine, but after 6 hours of play? hmm

Can you not turn off disasters as a start up option? A Peaceful mode as it were?

you cannot turn off disasters unfortunately. will play again in 6 months when its vetted a bit more. fun so far.

Yeah, no.. without a creative mode of some sort, I have no interest in it.

I cannot justify learning a new game, spending hours playing and then having a lightning bolt wipe those hours away.

Also kann man die Feuergefahr nicht durch zusätzliche Brunnen verringern.
