Has anyone else had an issue when returning from raids or expeditions when using a commander and the hero is no longer present in your settlement upon return?

They can still be accessed in the Heroes tab via the bottom left panel, but they are unable to be located via the character icon and no longer inhabit their hero house. They are also absent when attempting to select them as a commander on any subsequent raids. The hero quest still pops, however. I figured that completing the quest may be a pre-req for allowing another journey as a commander; not the case. I can confirm that this has happened with Olaf Raven-Eye after having returned from an expedition, and Ragnar Thunderblade after having returned from a successful raid.

As far as I know, heroes are not supposed to be a 'one and done' resource, so any input or thoughts would be helpful on this matter.
