Although i did have to create a new UBISOFT account as it wouldnt accept my usual one for some reason??
not so sure about the 2.0 mod as it dont seem you can remove the on screen hud mask?
Go to your mods folder in your main game install folder, locate the Raven Shield 'Mod' file, open it with notepad, insert "//" in front of the line "m_PlayerCtrlToSpawn=RVSComplete.RVS2PC" in Mods\RavenShield.mod.
The game will check for a CD key for IronWrath, this makes it difficult to play online. But I have reverse-engineered the CD key server to get around the problem. With my reverse-engineered CD key server running in the background at both sides (server and client) online game is possible. This actually works for all versions of the game, it accepts any CD key and is quicker than the 10 seconds timeout method other people are using. Is this something I should release? Or could I get banned from this forum?
Yes, Iron Wrath is free, but you need a seperate key to play online, however Ubisoft took down the authentication server for Iron Wrath years ago... So I would be really interested in JLC's solution to play Iron Wrath online, although I am not sure if he would get into any trouble with this (it's an 8 year old free add-on for a 10 year old game after all, but you never know)
... are you guys playin Iron Wrath with the Retail RS Gold or the Steam version? I am thinking of moving over to the Steam version, but I don't want to buy it if there are problems installing IW and the RS 2.0 mod. I'm using Win 7 and my old boxed retail copy works ok with both ...
