Loved this game until
I sent my pet to town for potions on veteran hardcore and it....returned without potions...during a boss fight. Not the first glitch I've encountered. It's a great game but damn needs some touching up (which I know will not happen...).

Anyway....thanks for reading my bitchery and good luck!

That's because you closed your pet's window before sending him.

Whenever you close the window of your pet, you reinitialize all the items you asked him to buy.

If you want him to buy stuff for you, you have to click "Send pet to town" while the window is still active

Argh! Ok. I don't fully recall if that's what happened or not...
I'll give it another try. Thanks! In all honesty, the dungeon was too high for me...I should have been more careful on hardcore >.<

Yeah, because of the crits, you really want to have a bunch of health, block chance, (possibly dodge if you have skills for it), damage reduction, damage reflection. These are the most helpful survival attributes.

Don't count on Armor. In vanilla it doesn't scale well at all, so it's practically useless after Act 2.

Some people like to "overlevel", meaning they will always farm until they have a higher level than the enemies (high enough to be "safe"). Some other far more farm intensive people will just farm Grell until they get a bunch of Grell's Eye (giving 3% DR), that they use afterwards on their gear. When you have 75% DR in early game, the game becomes a real cakewalk.

Personally I hate playing like that, and I never farm. I clear each area only once, and if I die well too bad for me. :-)
