Save file not showing up?

So I haven't played in a while and upon opening the game, I didn't see my save. My save was modded and I only have the two mods that save uses, since I've only used those two the whole time I've had the game. I've checked the mod save folder and my save is in there, but it won't show up in the menu.

Does your save file contain a .restore or .SVB at the end of the name?

It's possible an update that came out in 2013 may have broke the save if it has been that long since your return.

Well, by a while I mean I haven't played in close to 1 year, so I never had the game in 2013, but yeah there is a SVB file

Make sure that the Steam Cloud is accepting new saves rather than sending back old broken ones.

Neither of those worked for me. It will not save no matter what for me

Are you sure you have the mods loaded properly? I think some of my modded characters don't show up if they aren't compatible with the mods I've loaded.
