question about elemental damage on melee attacks

so if i have +30 lightning or fire or ice damage on a melee weapon. so does that mean when i am doing my basic melee swings on enemies - along with melee damage i am also doing elemental damage?

If it says +[element] then yes (as far as I know).

If it says %[element] then no, unless you have another source for the element (again, as far as I know).

It should list what damage types you have on the third pane on the left side. (Top one is pet inventory, second one is basic stats, third one is detailed stats).

True and also the player needs to select the small plus sign within that third panel to get more details on the exact damage numbers, reach, and other aspects on the weapons equipped.
