Reason being when your pet returned, I could swear it's the same exact VA saying "Your pet has returned".
I wonder if there are any people in common working for both Runic when Torchlight came out and WildTangent when Fate was developed.
I haven't played these (and only 1 and 2) since I "tried them" back when they were new.
Note that I haven't "tried" games in such an unconscionable manner in a very, very long time. I blame Steam. But it will be nice to purchase these, still. Call it amends.
Conclusion: probably not the same voice actor, unless the actor is acting out a different style of voice for the different games.

I can't find a manual for TL2 but I think the voice announcing the pet is the same for both TL1 and TL2.
