Agreed on the Embrace Set; it's one of the benefits from using the Overhaul mod that includes the Lao 2.0 mod that includes this.
You solved your question to assemble a better affix build from the previous discussion; saving time by avoiding the Soul-Crafting- the frustratingly rare Mythic items- the long grind / farming- and the nasty Debuffs from Darkness-Falls - all from the Synergies-mod end-game.
You have my respect; even with help from mods outside Synergies - finding the few combos of Class, Equips, Enchants, Sockets, and so on - to complete the end-game in one of the hardest TL2 mods on Elite Difficulty is no small feat.
Also thanks for writing this Guide on how you accomplished it; to benefit other players.
It may not be a Hard-Core mode survival build yet anything that can beat Soft-Core Synergies is appreciated.
Thanks alot!
I got some Mythical, but I thought the glasscannon build was interesting and wanted to see how far I could push it without the full Legendary soul crafting, AND without any Mythic pieces.
It worked and I think I saved LOTS of time not grinding for gear, gold and rolling enchantments.
Also, what was funny is that, I healed so much (leeched) that even though my hp was 0 or below, the game got confused and let me live.
The times I died only happened when I got jumped, or I was stunned during my attacks or I used my secondary attacks during the fight.
I heard the death sound so many times =)
Sounds like great fun (dying, mis-clicks, and ambushes). I only really do Soft-Core builds anyway - saves me the time trying to reach the harder areas within mod-challenges like Synergies.
Leech is such a gift in this game - as you mentioned - the game doesn't always know when the Player should've lived because it still thinks the healing means the Player should not die.
And testing unusual or lower builds in this game is one of the more enjoyable aspects for modded-TL2.
Saving time is always appreciated!
