Damn you, Boris...
Greetings All,

Doing a Preacher, in the Corrupted Crypt floor 1, and whom do I meet? None other than Boris himself. Not much in gold, more or less beginner kit, and you are here, wanting me to pay you to enchant my not-so-great stuff. Up to 3x too....Harrumph I Say.

On a side note, I usually run around punching/hitting things (I am *not* a nice person in game) that look destructible like the braisers(sp?) (the ones on the floors holding a fire pit in them, and found out that if you destroy them, loot comes flying out, did not know that before.

On another side note, in Grim Dawn (I know almost everybody here has play it), by the 3rd char lvl you have gone into systems and clicked off 'white' stuff (you are such dirty minded people, and I love it, lol), mostly because it is not worth selling. In TL2, even the white items go for 20-30 gold, even if that's all you and your pet carried back, you would still get a good chunk of change. So, am I the only one who does this?

Have Fun!

I've never seen this happen, so I just made a new character on the vanilla game and tried punching every brazier I found on my way to the Corrupted Crypt, and then inside the Corrupted Crypt, as well. No loot, just flying pieces of the braziers. Perhaps you hit something else nearby and thought the loot came from the brazier? Or perhaps it is a feature of the mod you are using, because I don't think this is a normal part of the vanilla game.

I'm glad you're having fun. :)

Ah, no...sorry I am using mods.
Since you have a pet that carries items and sends them to town for selling, there is really no reason not to take everything you see. I like that design to be honest.

Not sure about the braziers, but I have found that the crystal formations in some of the caves will shatter (and drop gems) if they are in the effect of an AoE attack. However, you can't target them directly - it only seems to happen if you hit a nearby enemy with an AoE. At least that has been my experience.

Yes, in the mines (or even open spaces), the large crystals can be broken and will sometimes drop gems. The easiest way to break them is to hit them directly with a skill. Basic weapon attacks do not work. A small number of skills don't work, but most of them do.

Huh.....I just go up to them, use the hold-in-place button and whack away with whatever weapon(s) are in hand until they break. In addition to the crystals, boxes and vases, you can break some statues, the small stone structures that have a square top that looks like part of a castle, the ones that have a sort or dome top, pretty much go up to anything that look breakable and whack away.
If you weapon goes thru it won't break, be sure to adjust you char around the object and try again, if it goes thru without making a quick "hitting" visual after few tries, then it won't break.

I have found gold, health/mana potions, gems (mostly in the mines with the large green crystals) and ID scrolls sometimes.

Hope this helps and have fun.
