Yes, there may be some connection issues for both the 2nd and 3rd games - however they both have Co-op as long as both players have a copy of the game.

do these problems happen often and do they go away on their own? we just played titan quest 3+ days everything was fine and then we couldn't connect to the server the connection was simply lost or broken we tried a lot of things didn't help then we found out that this is the game itself that has this crap

I cannot recommend that Torchlight's Multiplayer will be any different - while some players report no issues - other players most certainly do have problems.

As for how often these issues happen - it either works for a player or it doesn't at all is what gets reported.
