Are Multiplayer Servers still online?
I loved the first game and I want to buy TL2, but there are two Multiplayer exclusive achievements that I don't know if I can still get. Does Multiplayer still work or is it Local hosting only?

It should work however ISP issues can drive players to try Lan work-arounds:

You're welcome - I do wish Steam would be more clear on games that have questionable Multiplayer connections to help players decide before potential purchasing.
