trading???
I am trying to trade items with a friend but it says I have nothing in steam invertory--so how do I trade?

you mean in-game items? just click on his character portrait and select "trade" to bring up the item and gold trading interface.

what would people do with out steam and thier wierd marketing ploys. As the person above alaborated is correct. Most games have an in game treade feature.

we tried that, but not in-game because we can't join each others game
