Long waterfall area help

I've already gotten DOWN the waterfall so now I'm attempting to get to the left side of the waterfall. I'm assuming I need to get an inflated bubble frog over to the left side. By using that piece of land above the waterfall, I've managed to get Toki Tori or sometimes a deflated bubble frog over there, but I haven't managed to get an inflated bubble frog there. Is that the basic task on hand? Because I don't see anyway to reach the crab unless I use a bubble while on the left side to get up there.

It would help if you gave a screenshot so we know what waterfall you mean.

This one. I think I need to get an inflated bubble frog on the left waterfall in order to propel myself up the cliff on the left. Is that true?

Hm, the situation is irritating me a bit. If I remember correctly you normally come from the left side and you have to go right. Getting down the waterfall is the difficult part. While Im not to sure if it is possible or not I would just recommand that you try another route for getting there.

I come from the right. To the left and up of the waterfall there is a crab. Next to the crab is a spewing oil column. So I'm assuming I have to get near the crab to move it over the column?

I don't think it's possible to go to the left here if you come from the right.

If you go down there, try to not go through the gate. I did that and it glitched out my mole hills for the rest of the game.

You don't have to go down the waterfall at all. The normal route is to continue up and to the right. You come back from the bottom of the waterfall later in the game anyway.

If you are coming from the right side, try a different path because you should be able to easily arrive here from the left side via the earliest areas of the game.

Hints for going down the waterfall - I also haven't managed to get to the left, but I came to it from the left
there are four birds that need distracting
there are three frogs and one berry, so four potential distractions for the birds
the solution requires all four birds to be carrying items to the nest at the same time

Sorry for hijacking the thread; I managed to get down the waterfall on my own, does anybody have an idea how to solve the puzzle in the cave with the yellow bug?

Edit: It seems you have to kill three of the four frogs, then transport the yellow bug with the last frog to the bats . Ugh, this part was so annoying...
