Getting Down Well

I've already gone overground past the well to the right, but there seems to be stuff down the well and to the right. I've tried everything, going down into the well many times. The only thing I thought that would get me to the underground right side of the well is to get the frog to launch a bubble into the portal (left to right) so that I float up to the right side inside the well. But the frog cannot be positioned to launch me into the portal as far as I've tried. Am I supposed to be able to get there from this point?

You are not supposed to get down the well. Going right is the path you have to take. Later in the game there is a possibily to get into the well but I haven't found anything worthwhile in there. The stuff you see is related to the puzzle you had to solve in order to get over the well.

If there is something down there I did not see it.

Although you can get down the well if you want:

You just need to send a berry bug down in between two frogs, then follow them down, making sure you're the last one so the birds are busy.

Getting down the well (TRUE):
1. You need wings.
2. (spoiler) Get to the top warp, using the wings, then immediately go down from the warp in the well.
