paint mode works with the game loading system really badly, the load speed is selected depending on how many provinces is in queue to be updated, but it's selected once each batch

so i recommend waiting for it to finish calculating and then continue painting after, and if that doesn't work, save and load in again and hopefully that fixes it ^^

a slight update to paintwork is being worked on and i will see if i can make it function better

Paint mode will sometimes work perfectly fine for the first country but after it becomes slow again, and the amount of provinces selected doesn't seem to make a difference to the speed. Also tried saving it leaving the paint menu and joining back, and leaving the game and joining back and neither helped. Hope this can help
