Arcade Mode Bonuses, what are their modifiers?

Unless im going mad,I cant see what the negatives are for the Arcade modifiers? You can put all 3 on and i can see one of them limits your shot output but what do the other 2 do?

hyper makes everyone (both you and enemies) faster
hungry disables your main shot, leaving you with just your bite
heavy cannon makes the cannon take longer to charge

Yeah I'd sort of worked out 2 but thanks for that.
