I don't know if I care enough to send a Cease and Desist to a random mod that's probably vapourware anyway.
I suppose if they actually release it, I'll need to have a talk with them.
All I can find is a bunch of Youtubers saying that it is, but the actual mod team doesn't have the soundtrack up anywhere. And as far as I can tell, the mod is dead - they've been working on it since 2007.
There is a soundtrack on moddb from 2009, but the Infested Planet music track isn't a part of it.
So ... maybe this is just some YouTube channels trying to pad their ad revenue. In which case, whatever. I'm not going to DRM claim it on YouTube because that would just hurt all the legitimate people who did lets plays of the game and such.
Yeah, that's the only place where I found it too.
Maybe it's just someone really excited for the mod that put together a fan soundtrack from songs that they liked.
Oh, and, if I may ask, what inspired the soundtracks, anyway?
I think that the feeling of thousands of aliens constantly coming your way, being surrounded - that's the vibe that I was going for.
Most of the creative work was obviously done by the composer - Mark Wiebe. I'm just lucky that someone that talented crossed my path. :)
