Patch 1.12.0 Notes
This patch adds new techs to the Planetary Campaign DLC. If you want details, read the announcement here:

Briefly:
  • 5 New techs for the Planetary Campaign
  • 2 New advanced campaign options

There are also a bunch of small bugfixes and tweaks.

Oh, I also removed some old code that was tracking how long people were playing the game. I wanted to know if the Planetary Campaign DLC was something that people liked. I never really ended up using that info, so no point in keeping the code around.

All of the data will be deleted, if you're curious.

Quick note. It looks like I caused a bug in the game if you don't have the Planetary Campaign DLC installed.

The fix for this will be up shortly.

Ok, the fix is out. It fixes 2 issues:

- If you don't have the DLC installed, the new tech shouldn't mess things up
- Wrong info text for the cloaking field tech

This update made me realise that there even is a second DLC for this game. Completely missed that. Loving the plantary campaign so far! Excellent job on that.

It's mostly small fixes to the game. I figured most people wouldn't care about stuff like that.

Just for you:

  • Fixed typos in mutation text
  • Reduced range of bombard enemy by 40%
  • Added stasis and invisibility indicators to marine tabs
  • Made invulnerability tick down if entity is in stasis
  • Made difficulty level affect damage to buildings
  • Fixed vile tongues holding on to stasised marines
  • Added a command option for a plain windows cursor
  • Fixed alien towers firing at targets out of range
  • Fixed healing bots targeting stasis-ed targets
  • Fixed ammo notice spam from engineering
  • Fixed rendering bug in the dynamic campaign view
  • Fixed buffs being broken on Memento Mori
  • Fixed clone marines getting stuck at spawn
  • Swapped telebeacon and mines in tech order
  • Added fog of war option to custom map
  • Changed horde mode to allow the player ot mop up the last wave

Is this Bombard Nests, or do you mean Spitter Towers with the Bombard mutation? I'm guessing it's the former.

It's the nests. Their range was almost the entire map before this change.
