Just make sure you get both DLCs as well - they're definitely worth it, especially as the whole pack is currently on sale. As I said, the Planetary Campaign is where much of the replay value comes from, and I couldn't imagine playing without the extra unit abilities provided in Trickster's Arsenal.
Could you tell me some more about the campaign dlc?
And the game itself is good?
By campaign DLC I assume you mean the planetary campaign DLC?
It adds procedurally generated campaigns to the game. The base game allows you to play a single RNG mission, well the campain is like a gigantic version of that.
You get a strategic map where you conquer territories and destroy alien bases. You select which technologies to purchase for your army, which abilities to use on the strategy level. There are a whole bunch of new weapons that I added to make the tech tree different each time. I wanted to make something that was very replayable.
If I'm not wrong, Steam allows you to refund DLC. (Read their policy to make sure) You could just see if you like the game for yourself and refund it if it's not your thing.
I really like the idea of the game but I was worried about replayability/length, but after your reply, I guess i have nothing to worry about if I buy the DLC! Refund should work if I don't like it.
Thanks for the reply!
Also, weird question but does the game have windowed mode?
Yes, there is windowed mode.
Feel free to post any questions about the game on the forums, BTW. I usually read every single thing that people post (and I often reply).
Thanks for the help!
Given that all the other scans come back as negative and nobody has ever reported a virus in the game, I'd say that it's a false warning.
Glad to hear it!
