I got a job at Brace Yourself Games after shipping the last DLC, so there's not much time for personal projects.
I'll have to ship the current project first, which will take a lot of work. I like your optimism though. :)

Games like creeper world, particle fleet and battle for orion 2 are going in this direction, if I remember correctly.
And maybe multiplayer (okay, that'll take more work and time).
Or open source the game and let the ocmmunity make updates :P
Unfortunately, the game wasn't built with modding in mind. It's a mess of C++ code held together with duct tape.
And a glorious mess it is.
That's incredible! I haven't experienced any bugs. Well, other than, you know, the millions that are supposed to be there...
