Time to move on to a different game :-/
I finally did it and beat the Elite Difficulty on a huge map.

Try it with zero casualties. My best on Elite/Huge is 1 soldier death, still trying for that perfect run though. :)

No thanks ^^ I can't imagine that this is possible without loading some matches at least 100 times. I am happy I beat all difficulties on all map sizes. :-)

It just needs a favourable selection of available techs. Engineering, Minefield, Scout and Teleport Jump are pretty much essential to have available no later than Tier 2 (and preferably earlier). If you can get this and are a little lucky with the RNG then you needn't reload a single time and may be able to complete the campaign with few to no casualties.

I played my campaign without "restarting" function and I think this was more fun then being able to just restart every mission endless times :-D

Agreed - I usually select the "no restarts" option when starting a new campaign.
