I've been into RTS games since 99 but I have always had hard time reacting fast enough for most (looking at you brood war) which made online play pretty much a pass for me, however this game is pretty laid back if you set it up right.
I would say that Infested Planet can get pretty intense at times. There are a lot of things happening on the screen. It doesn't need a ton of micro to win, though.
Boomers, am I right?
Joking of course but I can't deny some strategy games rely on reflexes a lot more than actual strategy and it's really irritating... Your game strikes a good balance between strategic planning and all out frantic chaos though!
Thank you, for you reaction, it is a bit hard to find a strategic game that isnt to micro or recquire fast reaction, or is to easy for my father.
I know that 2h isn't a ton of time, but hopefully it allows you to check out the controls and whether they're a good fit.
Space bar to pause is a godsend.
