It's possible to kill him even with some of the bunkers still up. When you say 'unable to' kill him, what exactly do you mean? What are you attacking him with?

It may be possible to kill him before the bunkers are killed, but I think that would certainly be unintended.


Honestly, this one is pretty easy.

Go down the center, taking out hives and collecting BPs. Stop and back off once you have knocked out the center infested bunker.

Build chopper strike and ammo supply and use this combo to nuke the two other bunkers with triple airstrikes.

Use a scout to clean up the clones around the general.

Push on the general himself. Note that as a minigunner, he has a personal shield. So you want to have a sniper or two to shield break. You also want a scout. In a quick test, I used the following setup and it worked completely fine - Shield Generator, officer, sniper, sniper, minigunner, scout. I forgot to even bring along any medical pods but still managed it just fine.

Clean up the board.

Done.

I restarted the whole map and did it. I think it was a glitch. I basically showered the guy with everything and he was unkillable.

Looks to me like you're hitting him with all or nearly all riflemen. Heavier weapons work a lot better. He's invincible or nearly so to riflemen.
