Keep in mind that healing doesn't stack well - If I recall, there's a penalty for multiple things healing the same marine.
Plus, the medipod has a shield now. Play around with it and tell me if you still feel the medic is too powerful.
Reason I'm asking, is I am confused about the Bundle.
The bundle adjusts price if you already have some of the components. If you already have everything else, you should get -29% on the Planetary Campaign DLC. Get the bundle to save money.
One question though. Regarding the difficulty of the story campaign, is the old campaign "normal" or "hard"? I'd like to know just in case I get a hankering for the "classic" experience.
Yes, I bumped down the default difficulty of the story campaign by default. A lot of people complained that it got too hard too quickly.
Hard is the old default setting.
Will there be new achievements for the new content?
There no achievements in the DLC. Since there's only one of me, I'd rather spend the time making the game better.
Thanks for the amazing long term game support rocketbear :)
I picked up both DLC today, but was having problems getting them to download. In game, I would be promted to buy the campaign mode. They both had check marks next to them in the DLC section of the main game's steam library page, but were also showing as "uninstalled". I removed the check marks, and then re-enabled them. Both DLC then proceeded to download, now show as installed, and campaign mode is now enabled in game.
Again, I have everything working just fine, but I thought you should know about the issue I ran into, and the solution I came up with. I may have had this issue because of moving an old hard drive with my steam library to a new computer and then "importing" the library to the new steam install.
