The 2018 weapons steal my enjoyment of this game.
I know they are in for quite some time, but I came back to this game just recently.

I loved to play the planetary campaign on max dificulty, but the new weapons are mostly pretty useless. But the real problem are weapons they replace.
The toxic bomb is nothing in comparison to the chopperstrike.
The hologramm costs 4BP for a soldier who does no damage (when I can have 4 for 8 ammo per airdrop).
Given:
Triage is interesting, but rather limited in comparison to the medic or the pod, and I like the ideas of the cloaking field and the radio. BUt still, I now had three campaigns generated woithout chopperstrike, only triage in healing (T4) and hologramm. I'm sorry, but with this, the game just moved from a nice dificult game into a frustrating one. I always loved this game for its tight balance, but it seems it isn't as tight anymore.

I personally would like to have the old and the new one at the same time. Some things are very good like the gas bomb. With this, I hold back a lot of waves at a choke point.
