Why No new campaign?

I've seen people asking in discussions and workshop: "i wonder how it'll be as the bugs." or "it would be fun if we could play as the bugs." along those lines. I absolutely Love this game but its just Something missing making The game a small bit empty in some way. I would like to see a new campaign added to the game where we Play as our bug enemy, i'm sure many people wanna see how our battles are like for them, we would like to see The enemies View point of this war for the planet. I hope the Devs see this and make it true. Have a great time everyone! :) edit: maybe allow people to make mods for this game, so someone can find a great way to make the bugs playable, could be a good idea I think.

It's a DLC idea that I played around with years ago, but it never worked to my satisfaction.

The thing about the bugs is that they're tuned to be an interesting enemy for the player. It's the small things, like how long it takes to capture a point. They're really a sort of a punching bag. :)

Playing as the bugs would be boring without massive changes. At that point, it would pretty much be a different game.

True. But it would be fun like a new unit that captures a point faster or some thing. Quite a few ways to Make it easier and whatnot for the Player. But also Harder for the Player when they aren't playing the bugs. Or many other ways to have it work. :)

Another game, "Buggos", is similar to this game but plays from the point of view of the bugs. It might be what you're looking for
