Will they ever add a barracks?
The last mission was 100% the best mission due to the large map and the barracks that you got to capture. It added a unique style of AI gameplay and oh boy do I need more. Would it be possible for the devs to add a new building that allows you to auto spawn allied marines to fight for you? Obviously they couldn't be as strong as normal marines because that would just be broken. So if any developer is reading this then PLEASE add a DLC or something that allows you to have some AI allies on the map. It gets lonely playing by yourself.

A developer is indeed reading this. :) Of course the developer also has a job at another game company now, which means that future Infested Planet DLC is unlikely. :(

I'm glad that you like the AI allies. I always enjoy that sort of thing in other games - I think that in the last mission of the Zerg campaign in SC2, you had a fully-functional AI base helping you. Jim Raynor would call for help and everything if I recall.

The chances of another Infested Planet DLC are fairly low, I'm afraid. Between coding for work and then coming home and working on a secret hobby project, I'm afraid that there's no juice left for extra DLC ideas. If I ever discover a way to clone myself or win the lottery, I'll let everyone here know. :)

There's something like this in the Planetary Campaign DLC - you build fortifications on the campaign map, then if attacked you get a bunker that auto-spawns allied marines.

Hah! I didn't even remember that. I recall really liking the concept of helper AI, but I guess I forgot actually implementing it. <_<
