What do you want in the next patch?
Tell me what you want in the next patch. It has to be something that can be done in a week or two, so no asking for an Infested Planet MMO. :)

you know what, my personal opinion would be no elite squad of 5 dudes, i like having to build a base, and have the maps randomly generated maybe, were you must build a base, and you can recruit tanks, marines (and have different version ie: conscripts, Grunts, Elite), ships, and build turrets, walls ,mines etc. and must fight a riduculous number of enemies (i think you guy nailed that part) and expand from there! having the objective of the game to be: Clear the whole planet of the infestation!. Now i know for hell sure that this isnt possible to create in a week or two, but ill throw it out here anyway!

I am not sure how long it was take to produce but new research, buildings or troops would be awesome.

I can just see a ton of stuff you could add that would creates lots of replayability because I could devise new strategies and go at missions is completely new ways.

Another thing would be more alien evolutions, I am not sure how many there are but more is always better. More skirmish maps would be cool as well but great work so far with the game I have really enjoyed my time spent on it.

It sounds like you want to play Starcraft. :o)

I haven't bought this game yet since I'm needing to save a ton of money for college, but I played Attack of the Paper Zombies and whole-heartedly enjoyed it! I'm not sure on the total number of different classes in this game, buy more is always welcome! Maybe you could do a deployable forcefield wall that acts as a temporary wall of sorts that could block off paths or create cover for your marines?

Unless it exists already and I'm too dense to find it -- a basic waypoint system would be cool. Even if it's limited to two points, it'd give you a little more leeway to go around stuff or skirt projectile ranges.
Other than that, maybe a dynamic pause button (whatever that means). The pause mapped to spacebar, so you can scan around the map and plan strategy and pretend you have the situation well in control. This would also involve moving the PAUSED alert text somewhere besides the middle of the screen.

Holy crap! I don't want you to have to choose between college and Infested Planet. Why don't you friend me and I can send you a free key?

You can give me money when you've paid off your student debt. :)

Try holding SHIFT when issuing orders. That should queue them up.

Definitely a base defense mode. And like deathsteel said, more tech, buildings, units and mutations. Rebinding keys would be a great addition. Maybe even ranks for our recruits to encourage not letting them die. But I'd prefer a new game mode.

What Mikesnel said would be great as either a DLC or a sequel.

Haha that'll be a while yet! I haven't even started my first year, so it would be another 4 years minimum + time to find a job, etc.

I was joking. :)

Seriously though - if you want a free key, I will toss it your way. If you can't afford the game right now, it's not like I'm losing money. Besides, you played Attack of the Paper Zombies - if you were some random guy off the Internet I wouldn't make the offer.

XD Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure since that just seems uncommon and all haha!

I would like to see (although not immediately, necessarily) a small achievement system, if you don't have it in mind already.

I'm liking what I'm seeing in this game, keep it up!

A game on Steam without achievements? Heresy! This is coming in, at some point, without a doubt.

Fair warning - I'm making beating the Abyss mode without any buffs an achivement. Start practicing.

i have enjoyed my time ingame so far.. only confusion at times was getting the "build points" for research/unit weapons/buildings. took a while to get the hang of that, all in all im likeing the spin on the micro you might see with a few buildings/units like in starcraft.

im guessing that an earlier request is to add to the macro of a map. possibly for each base captured/taken/destroyed add a unit to control, points for research, or make some other sort of "upgrade" available.

the cash upgrades outside of matches(campain) remind me of getting unit upgrades in StarCraft2. i would like to see if you add to those.. ex after buying minigunner, there is upgrades for faster firespeed, movement, dmg per round. or come up with a tech tree of sorts to allow for mixing up "perks" on unit/weapon types. adding flame dmg to shotguns, piercing on snipers, bigger boom on medics nade launcher.

with the comparisons to starcraft and other basic mechanics from an rts, my only real request from the dev is to finish the core mechanics/gameplay as you first invisioned. I got SPAZ expecting, something else, but after 4 or 5 playthroughs i still havent used the same loadouts/ships twice. i expect to do the same for this game,
