Can't start the game
everytime I try to start the game it says failed to initialize Steam API, so what the hell does that mean and how do I fix this?

I would try restarting your PC. Sometimes Steam bugs out and the game can't connect to it. The Steam API is needed for things like achievements and other Steam features.
