Chopper attack grayed out?

Hi all, I'm new to the game.

I'm playing the campaign and in later missions the chopper attack I bought is grayed out. Can't use it.

It works fine if I replay an older mission...

Are you playing a random mission on Abyss difficulty or above? When you get that high, some of the technologies get randomly turned off.

I need to check but that's probably the case becasue I was grinding some money for new tech. I play the game kinda casually, not all the time.

Thanks for the advice. It sucks it's randomly turned off, I really like the chopper attacks.
