Great game but I have found the easy mode

Just build turrets on the border of the hive thingies range. The turret will kill the base and thier turrets wont attack it. Hoping this can be addressed as it shouldnt be this easy. Yes I know I can win without doing this but I think its a balance thing that is worth addressing.

How far are you in the game? That tactic tends to work early on, but later mutations change things up a bit.

Ya this game with it mutations makes it impossiable to come up with any solid Cheese tactic to use through out the whole game. Best i found was double heli-strike until they get the explosive shield.
