Content server unreachable
Hello, I've been playing for a couple of months with absolutely no issues up until yesterday.

Steam seemed to attempt to download an update for Golden Lap that constantly failed. I uninstalled the whole game and tried to reinstall but the download fails saying unable to reach content server or content unavailable...

Hey, is this happening with one specific mod or all? If it's only one mod, could you share the link here so I can try downloading it?

No mods. Just vanilla Golden Lap.

Oh, I see. Last update for Golden Lap was more than a month ago, so there shouldn't be any recent downloads required.

First, make sure you haven't enabled any beta branches for Golden Lap. To do this, right click on Golden Lap in your Steam Library, select Properties, then in the new window in the Betas tab set Beta Participation to None.

Next, if you still can't download the game itself, then something must be going wrong on the Steam client side. They have an article with possible fixes for such issues here: https://steamhost.cn/help_steampowered_com/en/faqs/view/21F5-8D5D-0141-7A5E

If the tips there don't help, it's best to contact Steam support directly. I hope this helps!
