It is too late for this game
Hey I've just read on reddit page that you are taking up discussion to steam forums and I wanted to say my opinion: You might aswell never implement those balance changes ( and I honestly think you will not but anyway) because it is too late for this game. There are barely any people playing it and people already lost interest for the game. The game wasn't even that good to start with and it is impossible to make it a sucsessfull game from now on because you realy didn't even care about this game. So yeah R.I.P chronicle, there is no way this game is going anywhere.

I have to agree. I played it for a bit in May but left due to the ludacris grind. 30 gold for a quest seriously ? ... why even have it when packs are 1000 its insulting. I even spent 20 dollars on it which still left me with absolutly no cards even more discouragement. Not to mention it has the same system as hearthstone where you can get duplicates which annoys me to no end. I hope more tcg's take on the magic duels model where even if you are getting ♥♥♥♥ cards you know atleast you dont have to get them again. To the runescape team I think its best to have a pack earnable in about 2-3 hours a day less your user base gets discouraged especially with the power balance of your cards.

Reading your post shows that you are really out of touch with the game and don't really have a clue what you are talking about. Not that it really matters, coz the game is pretty much dead anyway. Check out the subforum on reddit and you will know why. The bottom line is that the project basically failed - arguably due to the devs negligence - and that's why they won't put much more effort into the game. Even the most well known and committed players announced their leave. That pretty much tells you in which direction this game is going.

In the last 2 weeks between 5 and 9 thousand people have played the game. That's not dead. The game is in a state of fighting for survival sure but it's not dead. Jadex didn't speak to us for too long and some of the player base has left. If Jadex continue to do nothing then it really is dead but if these updates continue and new content is added then more players will join and some will come back. If you're not willing to give the game a chance you don't have to but that doesn't mean everyone else wants them to simply stop developing the game and improving it.
I have no idea where you get your numbers from, but they are severely wrong. There's an average of around 80 people online at any one time.

I play Chronicle almost daily. And I will continue in the future with other like-minded players.

The game itself is *good*. Just needs more content and balancing and smartphone support and whatever. The foundation is there and that's the toughest part to get right. I understand Jagex couldn't monetize well enough so it'd be a shame for them to call it quits. If they ever need good ideas, just look into the Runescape lore and ask established players to help balance content.

If there are 80 players around the clock each playing about an hour, that'd make 80x24 = 1920 unique players total. I'd say that's a bit low estimate.

I am pretty sure they will not bother with releasing the mobile version.

At one time yes but there are still many more people trying out the game or logging in from time to time.
