Yeah I totally agree with you Aigle.
If you check that link and actually go to their forums where they stated that they would update this post "https://www.rschronicle.com/forum/posts/list/5854.page" with an exact date as to when the card changes were being made you will discover, with probably the same regret and disappointment as myself, that the "exact date" was never given but instead impromptly dropped on the players when we opened the game today.

It's all well and good receiving the 1000 gem shards from time invested or money spent but couldn't they have rewarded their loyal players who check their forums everyday to see when the cards are being moved so as they could have had the chance to recycle all those cards prior to the update to earn the recycled shard cost, plus the shards they are giving to all players as a reimbursment. I feel let down on this one tbh.

I made sure I posted an announcement in these forums, on behalf of the devs. So there was notice given here for people that don't follow the reddit or the official forums.

Jagex have been more than generous with the rewards and refunds so far.

To clarify:
I recycled my cards over the weekend. I knew it was coming, and I don't follow reddit, so... not sure what the big emergency is here.

It's not so much an emergency but a disappointment. I'm a regular player who plays on a daily basis so I didn't want to recycle anything until given a date, which we were told would be received in the forum post of the link I provided above. So I was checking this post also on a daily basis for this date but it wasn't given. The only way I found out was when I started up the game today to see all the cards that I could have recycled were already moved. I also wasn't sure if the cards mentioned were confirmed or if there may have been changes to the list, in which case I would have lost out. It would have been nice for them to give us the date as they said they would but they fell short here.

It's ok for the regular players who are probably "in the know" about certain suggested changes because of close contacts that they have in which case they have already dusted their cards and all's good, but for the other loyal players I feel we were let down.

Just to add, I don't like to complain really because Jagex have been a very generous and fair developer since the launch of CRL which is a really decent game in all fairness. I think I'm just a bit peeved that all week I have been checking for a date of the change on their forums and it never came, but like everything else, it will blow over!

No need to spend time on thse folks who just want to find things to complain about. This game is more than fair and gave ample notice. My actual complaint (ironic) is that they gave too much notice and I sharded my cards a week early. The cards were pretty weak anyways, and I only used a couple in my decks so no biggy. PLUS they give 1k shards on top of that? This dude is either trolling or just trying to find things wrong in life. Must be a sad way to live.
