I used to play it using the stand alone client, but i dont think playerbase as of now is more than 400 people ( steam included) and thats being generous, people i know still play it often tell me that they fight the same people in a row, while playing casual.

Jagex haven't even started to try to push the game yet. Just wait until the mobile version comes out later this year, then the big push will start. They are just polishing the game and optimising it currently.

I'm also hoping for the mobile version and a much bigger player base, because the current environment in ranked and in the dungeon is really tough :( Only veteran and pro players are left...

I log in daily and play few games (mostly dungeoneering) to get quests done. Dunno what more can you ask from me. I have genuinely good time with surprisingly close games, and find matches fairly quickly. With a mobile version provided I could squeeze in a couple more games at work.

Offer me additional content and visual stuff and I will buy plat. Right now I have closer to 20k copper and nothing worthwhile to spend it on.

Apart from paid promotion to popular HS streamers, really, if you think the playerbase is going to drastically increase you're deluded
