The new ambient sounds that we cannot turn off are driving me insane.

Please, can we get a working Enable Sound Effects setting (the ambient sounds (water flowing, birds chirping, etc) are coming back after each chapters even though the option was ticked off). Even better, make an option to disable them altogether and still be able to hear the other effects.

Until they fix it, you can always mute the game via the Volume Mixer in Windows.

They have said in discord they are aware of the issue and will have a fix. The next update comes friday so perhaps it will roll in with that?

You can pseudo fix this problem by going in game and maxing out all the volume settings then going into Volume Mixer in Windows and turning down Chronicle manually.
