Quasimorph

is there anything you can do if a limb get amputated in a mission.
I have tried everything from med kits, med bays, to even trying to install someone elses foot on. Nothing works and its a constant every 10 turns you need to use a rag. So anoying that I just leave the missions if I can. You would think it would a nasty debuff but a constant bleeding wound is a bit much when you clone is constantly getting shot or beamed with energy weapons. Maybe if we had an item to cauterize the wound or a crutch to avoid the hp drain. I have been extremly unlucky with enemies with the disc weapon and 60% of the time I loose a foot which is basically a failed mission.

Gavvakh and transformation pacts heal amputations, but ideally, you want to prevent them from happening by pumping dodge and cut resistance. If you've got nothing, then stay away from the missions against Civil Resistance (they use sawblade weapons).
hi in a recent game against the new tianming faction, they used sawblade 1-shot per reload pistols, and after about 5 shots in my direction (overall), they scored a lucky hit and my left arm (and weapon) fell to the floor :)

luckily there was quasimorphosis on that map, so i was able to get a gavvak to replace the limb, and managed to complete it just about, with gavak addiction and alcohol addiction creeping up on me near the end of the mission - very tense battle, but as long as 1 think each move through and not rushing moves, i can usually get past it :) (at least so far)

edit:
i too was also using rags regularly, (and other items for other robot part injuries), but it was all part of the fun :)

Did anyone try to put a robot arm in a mission after geting the amputation upgrade? Its not clear what it does.

You can't install augments during missions.
So only pacts, Gavvakh, or Soma.

how cool it would be if you could bring an arm to a doc and use it to stich the arm back on the clone?:D
that would be cool :)
