Removing core concept gameplay and lorewise would be silly thing to do by devs even as an option, I mean read the name of the game.

I mean, farming on Mars and its satellites is basically this. The game just becomes a clean merc sim then. Would still probably be fun

You can sort of disable quasimorphosis by installing a Cyborg head. It reduces quasimorphopsis faster (albeit slowly) than it builds up, unless there is an absolute bloodbath going on (like when unchained belt event gets rolled on a floor). Still nothing that having enough calories or a few quasimorphosis mitigating consumables doesn't easily fix, which is further made easy by the stomach implant that cleans up addictions.
