How so? Im genuinely curious

Well, this is right up my alley. The 1 million thing kinda reminds me of aurora4x that can get up to those numbers, and some parts of this remind me of aurora4x in the video though no idea how simplified in comparison or if similar at all, either way the galaxy size is kinda similar at least. I haven't ever seen a space 4x game take on the size of universe aurora4x can get to. All are 1000 stars or less.

I think what the OP meant by "looks too good to be true" is more it looks so up their alley that they can't believe it.

Well I mean if you're talking about the size of the galaxy, you'd be right about the fact we definitely don't have 1 million star systems represented in the same way as Aurora 4x or Stellaris. The 1 million thing is more of a setting description, so I'm sorry if I wasn't clear about that I genuinely didn't think people would take it that way. Hope that clears up any confusion!
