I hate checkered room on 9th floor!

This puzzle is too much for me. I need some better clue. That's insane, I'm several hours in this damned place, I tryed almost everything with that stupid left right counting, but still nothing. Maybe something with that lights out spell? (still have no idea what is this spell good for)

So, it's something with checkers rules... Still I have no idea what to do, but thanks, it's good to know what is this puzzle about.

Think of the pattern on a checkers or chess board.

More specifically the colour pattern.

Solution: put an item on every other tile, i.e. all the black tiles if this were a chess board.

Holy cow, that was most confusing scroll message in this game. Why the ♥♥♥♥ they put that scroll right before this puzzle? I only wasted time with left right counding and ignore everything else, great!

So that stupid message was just a red herring? Here I was trying to use logic, changing my starting points and directional facing before doing the steps. And it turns out you have to put an item on every other square. Um, what?

That can't be truth right? That was the most insane illogical idiotic puzzle in the game. I was wondering how to use infrormation in the scroll properly. Wtf?

yeah i did that puzzle in like 15 seconds when i saw the pillars but can't go on cause i dont see any stairs or smth. i think im too tired playing this game now :D
