Honestly as someone who doesn't listen to any vtubers and doesn't like vocal in general, I actually think the vtubers' songs are pretty good, but if you don't like them, shrug.
It's not even as popular as My Little Pony was during the Brony days.
Few things are as popular as My Little Pony was during the brony days, unless you're looking at like, Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who, and old-school Pokemon.
Popularity for a few does not mean popularity and success for the majority.
Vtubing as a whole is a sunk cost fallacy and majority that protray as such are unsuccessful in gaining an stable income from it.
Majority of the popular and successful Vtubers lie through their teeth about having chronic illnesses and such and bleeding hearts are easily opening their wallets through affiliation of popular flesh tubers.
A select few that make it seem that is popular and successful haven't seen how toxic and Isn't worthwhile Content Creation as Vtuber really is for the majority.
That is true of literally all performance/art forms, hardly something to hold against VTubers specifically.
That's like saying that because 95% of professional actors can't make a living doing it then that means that movies aren't very popular. Like .01% of people doing it live in the lap of luxury and everyone else furiously chases some semblance of financial security, that's how all entertainment media works.
Literally the only example I can think of is Ironmouse, and the reality of her condition is well documented.
I'm not saying it's not a toxic environment, just gonna point out that claiming that it's UNIQUELY so is probably just nonsense.
That is what's wrong. My point stands and no one can procure the documents and proof showing this person has such a thing and only plays it as a front.
Part of that is because I just am not into Miku or idols, but part of it is also like, it feels like they're in so many games that it just elicits a shrug and a "Cool I guess" With the first 3 dlc it was just really neat logging on and seeing "Hey you know that platformer you really liked? Yeah they're here now!" The elation I felt seeing Celeste added with Reach For The Summit just simply can't compare to any feeling I would get if they went "Alright guys, our next dlc? Yeah, we got Hatsune Miku!" Like cool, she's in everything lol. She's even in Magic The Gathering. No hate on her, the music is fine, I just feel nothing seeing a Miku collab because I think the music is simply just ok. That Miku Samba song was cheeks tho. It's the only song added to this game I just didn't like lmao but I'll still admit a couple of the Miku songs are my favorite charts
Speaking of documenting and proving claims, do you wanna back up that statement that VShojo has come out and said that Ironmouse's condition was made up for marketing purposes?
Also, just so you know, Ironmouse was a pretty popular indie before VShojo was created by several years, and her condition was known long before VShojo was created.
4 songs for 6 euros is too much, the price/song ratio is too high compared to the base game which is 32 songs for 18 euros (plus the whole game). We should have got 10 tracks in the dlc to respect this ratio.
Oh yeah probably, I don't have any other "music" game in my library so I have to trust you
